We recently adopted Jasper from Sheila, and it was a very positive experience with smooth communication both before and after the adoption. Jasper is exactly as Sheila described—“energetic and friendly.” As a first-time dog owner with no prior experience, I am so happy that we haven’t had any accidents with Jasper pee and poo in the house. He was a little nervous for first and second day but quickly learned to not bark only the third day after we brought him home. I highly recommend this breeder if you are considering adopting. Clear communication, the effort to truly understand and describe the puppy, and raising a well-pretrained puppy in a good environment are very important—especially for someone with no previous dog experience. Jasper has been such a stable and wonderful puppy.

Sheila is an amazing breeder. She spends a lot of time to pre-train puppies. By the time to get home, our puppy is already potty trained. She hasn’t made an accident in the house so far. She is also in crate condition and sleep through the nights in her crate. All the works has made our life a lot easier. Thank you Sheila!

Over these years, I have met many vets, groomers and breeders. As with dog trainers, not are all created equal. The first time I met Sheila, she was taking one of my Obedience classes with her own dog. Sometimes I felt like she knew as much or more than me. She really didn’t need me to teach her much but wanted her boy to be in a situation where he could not just play when around other dogs but still listen with that distraction. Then her and her daughter brought a lovely pup to my puppy classes. They were so full of enthusiasm and patient, the pup was happy to learn and a quick learner. I have had other pups from Sheila’s litters and they are all smart and beautiful with wonderful temperaments. I currently have one of Sheila’s pups in my puppy classes and the owner and pup are so perfect for each other. Good breeding equals, calm, stable confident dogs and this is what I have found in all of these pups. If I were to consider getting a pup, it would definitely be with this fantastic breeder. He came into a family with two young children and was already so well-behaved, calm, great with the kids and everything you could want in a dog. He's been an amazing addition to our family and is a hit with just about everyone when we take him on adventures. We researched a number of breeders in preparation to add a dog to our family, and Sheila stood head and shoulders above all others with the work she puts into getting the dogs ready for their forever homes. Our adorable girl, Honey, is crate trained, sits when she wants something, knows to “touch” and is potty trained! You did it again, Shelia. Thank you for your dedication to raising these puppies with love and attention. They’re such happy puppies and have been trained beyond anything you could ask for. Best breeder. Best puppies. We are so grateful to have you in our lives. 🌟 Just had to post again!!! 🌟 Our wonderful labradoodle is now 4 years old. We couldn’t be happier with his personality- and we know this all comes down to such quality breeding and Shelia’s devoted puppy care. Our dog came potty trained, calm, and crate trained! So many other breeders offered “doodles” but as our family and friends have discovered, many are first generation that end up shedding, being bred with other types of dogs, or looking pretty wirey and wild. With it’s a doodle you’re guaranteed a real, non-shedding labradoodle- with tested genetics. 🧬 We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice and highly suggest it’s a doodle for the best puppies in the universe. Slightly biased? Maybe— but honestly you couldn’t ask for more from a labradoodle breeder! 💜

We've had our 15-week-old puppy, Ash, for just over a week now, and we truly couldn't be happier with how smoothly his transition into our home has been. From the moment he arrived, it was clear that It's a Doodle is a fantastic family-owned business that genuinely cares for their dogs. One of the biggest reasons for such an easy transition is that Ash came to us already crate trained. This made his first few nights, and even daytime naps, incredibly peaceful. It’s obvious that It's a Doodle invests time in early development, setting these puppies up for success right from the start. Ash's temperament is simply wonderful. He loves human interaction and is incredibly calm, making him an absolute joy to have around. He also understands a few commands like "sit" and "down," and thankfully, these are the exact commands we use! This consistency has made continuing his training so much easier and more effective. You can really tell that the dogs at It's a Doodle are part of their family. The effort they put into teaching young development shines through in Ash's confident and well-adjusted demeanour. We're so grateful for the foundational work they did, which has made our first week with Ash an absolute dream.
